There’s more 3D printed Star Trek with a view of this video by PC Magazine, who took on the task of 3D printing the Starship Enterprise on their 3D Systems Cube personal 3D printer.
Together with so many others we were really disappointed when Tinkercad announced it’s shut down. Deep down we hoped someone would acquire and save Tinkercad. And it happened! Autodesk signed a deal to acquire Tinkercad and blow new life into the platform.

3D printers are getting cheaper and cheaper all the time. Soon enough, we’ll start seeing more than just hobbyists and industrial designers working with the technology. Unfortunately, the CAD software designers use to make 3D models is still expensive and/or complicated.
